1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.

2. Heard Mr. G. Sinha, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. M.K. Balabantaray, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Opp. Party No. 1.

3. It is submitted that pursuant to the advertisement issued under Annexure-1 on 19.02.2021 the Petitioner was duly selected and he was issued with the offer of appointment vide letter dtd.10.06.2022 under Annexure-3 series. It is submitted that in terms of the said offer though the Petitioner submitted that declaration that he will join before 08.07.2022 as reflected in Page 29 under Annexure-3 series, but the Petitioner subsequently vide letter dtd.23.07.2022 under Annexure-4 was intimated that after due verification of his credential through a Committee, further action will be taken in the matter.

4. Mr. Sinha further submitted that subsequently vide another letter issued through e-mail on 06.08.2022 the Petitioner was directed to provide various documents, which the Petitioner also complied vide e-mail dtd.21.08.2022 under Annexure-6.

5. It is submitted that even though the Petitioner as requested vide Annexure-5 has provided all the required documents, but no decision has been taken in allowing the Petitioner to join in his post in terms of Annexure-3 series dtd.10.06.2022.

6. In view of the submission made by Mr. Sinha, this Court while disposing the writ Petition, permits the Petitioner to make an appropriate application before the O.P. No. 2 within a period of 3 (three) weeks from today.

7. It is observed that if any such application is made within the aforesaid time period, O.P. No. 2 shall take a lawful decision on the same within a further period of one month. The said O.P. No. 2 shall afford a personal hearing to the Petitioner also while deciding the matter. O.P. No. 2 is directed to act on the aforesaid direction on receipt of a copy of this order along with representation from the Petitioner.
