01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.

2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the Opp. Parties.

3. The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "It is therefore, humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to:

i) Direct the opp. Parties to absorb the petitioner in regular establishment on the basis of 27 years of continuous service and regularization of similarly situated persons and juniors vide Annexure-4 series as per the instruction dated 12.09.2013 of the Govt. in Revenue and Disaster Management, the job contract employees should have been absorbed in regular establishment in view of the direction given by this Hon'ble Court in terms of the scheme dated 16.7.1996 as well as the instruction of the Revenue Dept. dated 31.10.1998, who were in service as on 30.9.1994 as expeditiously since he is going to retire from service on 30.04.2023;

ii) Pass such other order (s)/direction(s) as would be deem fit and proper in the bonafide interest of Justice;

4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the Petitioner has filed an application at Annexure-10 to the Writ Petition before the O.P. No.2, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays that a direction be issued to Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted Petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition taking into account Annexure-3 & 4 within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the Petitioner.
