This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing mode. 2.

This writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner praying for a direction to the Opposite Party Nos.1 and 2 to extend the benefit of upgraded scale of pay of Rs.1080-1800 as per ORSP Amended Rule, 1990 to the Petitioner from 26.03.1994, which has been granted to other vocational teachers of other districts as per Annexures-3 and 4. 3.

During course of hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the present writ petition be treated as representation and necessary direction may be issued to the Opposite Parties to grant benefits as indicated hereinabove.

Considering the submissions made, this Court without entering into the merits of the case, disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the Opposite Party Nos.1 and 2 to treat the writ petition as representation and consider and dispose of

// 2 // the same in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.

With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID -19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a print out of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned Advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587, dated 25th March, 2020, modified by Court's Notice No.4798, dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
