This matter is taken up through Virtual Mode. 2.

Heard learned counsels for the Parties.

The Petitioner has filed a grievance petition vide Annexure-6 on the ground that though his land has been acquired for coal bearing area, he has not been paid with fair compensation taking into consideration the standing trees on the said land. 4.

The prayer of the Petitioner is for reference of the matter to the competent Tribunal. In this regard the grievance petition has been filed vide Annexure-6 before the Land Acquisition Officer (Civil), Neyyivalli Lignite Corporation Ltd. (Opposite Party No.3). 5.

Regard being had to the facts and submission and the nature of relief sought for, this writ petition is disposed of directing the Opposite Party No.3 to dispose of the grievance petition of the

// 2 // Petitioner vide Annexure-6, in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned order within four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order or true copy of the order available in the Orissa High Court's website.

The Petitioner is directed to supply a copy of the writ petition containing all the Annexures to Opposite Party No.3 for convenience and reference to Annexure-6.

As restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned Advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587, dated 25th March, 2020, modified by Notice No.4798, dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515, dated 7th January, 2022.
