01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.

2. Heard Mr. C.R. Pattnaik, learned counsel for the Petitioner.

3. The present writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "i. The respondents may be directed to regularize his service and sanction pension and other consequential benefits from the date of his retirement forthwith. ii. And further may pass any other order/s, direction/s as this Hon'ble Court deems just and proper.

And for this act of kindness the applicant as in duty bound shall ever pray."

4. It is contended that the issue involved in the present case is squarely covered by a decision of this Court rendered in the case of Bandhu Gochhayat Vs. State of Odisha & Ors. reported in 2022 (I) OLR -266.

5. In view of the same, the present writ petition is disposed of in the light of the order passed in the case of Bandhu Gochhayat. (Biraja Prasanna Satapathy) Judge Sneha
