Heard Mr. P. Sahoo, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. P.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 2.

This is an application under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of bail to the Petitioner Deepak Kumar Mohanta in connection with Morada P.S. Case No.131 of 2020 corresponding S.T. No.64 of 2021 pending in the court of learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Baripada for alleged commission of offence under Sections 498A/302/34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

The Petitioner is the husband of the deceased. 4.

Upon hearing both parties and considering the circumstances of the case viz., the undisputed status of the petitioner as husband of the deceased, the injury noticed on the dead body and the scene of crime etc, I am not inclined to release the Petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected.

The BLAPL is dismissed.
