This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Petitioner in this writ petition seeks to assail the provisional assessment in respect of his premises under Annexure-1.

In course of hearing, Mr. Das, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that since the Petitioner has remedy to file objection under Section 126(3) of the Electricity Act, 2003 to the provisional assessment, he prays for withdrawal of the writ petition to avail the statutory remedy.

In view of such submission, the writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn. Petitioner, if so advised, may file his objection before the Assessing Officer and contest the same, if the assessment proceeding is still pending.
