This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Appellant.

Learned counsel appearing for the Appellant seeks leave to convert this CRLA to BLAPL as the matter involves the provision of POCSO Act. The provisions of POCSO Act being a later Statute than the SC & ST (PA) Act which shall govern the field. Therefore, the rejection order shall be challenged under Section 439 Cr.P.C. 4.

Accordingly, leave is granted to convert the CRLA to BLAPL. Registry is directed to re-register the CRLA as BLAPL and list this matter thereafter.
