This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioners in this writ petition pray for a direction for early disposal of P.R Case No. 1 of 2017 corresponding to OLR Case No. 2257 of 1977 pending before the Tahasildar, Attabira. 3.

Taking into consideration the grievance made the Petitioners in this writ petition, this Court vide order dated 15th November, 2021 directed the learned State Counsel to take instruction in the matter. 4.

Today, Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Government Advocate on instruction, submits that some delay in disposing of the aforesaid case has occurred due to death of the land owner. At present, notice in the aforesaid case has already been served on the legal heirs of the land owner and the case is posted to 3rd March, 2022 for final hearing. 5.

Mr. Sahu, learned counsel for the Petitioners thus prays for a direction to the Tahasildar, Attabira-Opposite Party No. 3 to take up the matter on the date fixed and make an endeavour for early disposal of the same.

In view of the submissions of learned counsel for the parties, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case disposes of this writ petition with a direction to the Tahasildar, Attabira-Opposite Party No. 3 to take up P.R. Case No. 1 of 2017 corresponding to OLR Case No. 2257 of 1977 on the date fixed and make an endeavour for early disposal of the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
