Heard Mr. D.K. Panda, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. T.K. Pattnaik, learned Addl. Government Advocate. 3.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties for grant of permission for opening of GNM course with 60 seats in Xavier Nursing College, Puri for the academic session 2015-16, on consideration of the proposal vide Annexure-1. 4.

On perusal of the application filed by the petitioner under Annexure-1, it appears that the petitioner had approached the authority in the year 2015 and in the meantime six years have passed and, as such, the academic session has already over. Therefore, this writ petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to make fresh application before the authority for the academic session 2021-22, so that the same can be considered by the authority in accordance with law.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
