Heard learned counsel for Petitioner and learned counsel for the State-Opposite Parties.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- " That the petitioner therefore, pray that your Lordships would be graciously pleased to admit this case, call for the records, after hearing the parties, issue writ/writs in the nature of certiorari/mandamus or any other direct / directions to the Opp.Party No.1, the Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Women and Child Development Department, Bhubaneswar to promote to the petitioner for the post of CDPO w.e.f. 29.09.2019 and the petitioner's grievance application dated 30.06.2022 under Annexure-7 may kindly consider within a stipulated period, which may fixed by this Hon'ble Court;
And for this act of kindness the petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray".

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that through highlighting her grievances, the Petitioner has filed a representation at Annexure-7 to the Writ Petition, before
// 2 // the opposite party No.1 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, she prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period. 5.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
