This matter is taken up through Hybrid mode.

Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction for early disposal of IA No.60 of 2021 (arising out of CP No.924 of 2021) filed under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage, 1955 (for short, 'the Act').

It is submitted by Mr. Sarangi, learned counsel that the Opposite Party has filed CP No.924 of 2019 for dissolution of marriage between them under Section 13 of the Act. On her appearance, the Petitioner filed an application under Section 24 of the Act for pendente lite maintenance and for litigation cost. Though, this application was filed on 13th August, 2021, the same is still pending for adjudication. Hence, the Petitioner moves this Court for the aforesaid relief.

Taking into consideration the pendency of the similar nature of application before learned Judge, Family Court, Bhubaneswar, I am not inclined to grant the prayer made herein. However, in the event the Petitioner files an application for early disposal of IA No.60 of 2021 filed under Section 24 of

// 2 // the Act within a period of two weeks hence along with certified copy of this order stating the grounds therein, learned Judge, Family Court, Bhubaneswar shall do well to consider the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks there from and proceed with the matter accordingly.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy of the order on proper application.
