1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.
2. Heard.
3. In this Writ Petition, the Petitioners seek a direction from this Court to the Opposite Parties more particularly the Opposite Party Nos.1/ Principal Secretary, School and Mass Education Department, Government of Odisha, Bhubaneswar and 2/Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, Cuttack to take necessary steps for declaration of their result in Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test-2022 wherein they had appeared.

4. Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that because of allegation of mal practice committed by nine candidates, the result of the aforesaid examination has not yet been published. He further submits that in the meantime, another notification has been published for the said examination and the Petitioners have applied for the same.
5. Per contra, learned counsel for the State submits that the Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test-2022 with respect to Malkangiri district has already been scrapped because of mal practice committed by some candidates and fresh examination has been directed to be conducted.
6. Since the Petitioners have applied for the fresh Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test, they should appear in the said examination.
7. In such view of the matter, this Writ Petition is dismissed being devoid of any merit.
