This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

Having regard to the severity of the allegations and availability of prima facie material to show the complicity of the petitioner in the alleged occurrence, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore, rejected. However, it shall be open to the petitioner to renew his prayer after examination of some material witnesses in the case including the informant.

The BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
