This matter is placed in the National Lok Adalat and is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode).

Learned counsel for the appellant, Officers of the Insurance Company and the learned counsel for the respondent no.1 are present.

It is agreed by the parties, the awarded amount of Rs.21,39,799/-(twenty one lakhs thirty nine thousand seven hundred ninety nine) is modified and reduced to a consolidated amount of Rs.14,99,000/- (rupees fourteen lakhs ninety nine thousand). It appears that the appellant-Insurance

// 2 // Company has already deposited Rs.21,39,799/- (twenty one lakhs thirty nine thousand seven hundred ninety nine) before the learned Commissioner for Employees Compensation -cumJoint Labour Commissioner, Cuttack. The learned Commissioner is directed to release the consolidated amount of Rs.14,99,000/- (rupees fourteen lakhs ninety nine thousand) along with accrued interest thereon to the claimant and balance amount along with accrued interest thereon be refunded to the appellantInsurance Company. As the settlement is arrived at before the Lok Adalat, no court fee shall be levied from the claimant. The FAO is accordingly disposed of.
