This matter is placed in the National Lok Adalat and is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode).
Learned counsel for the appellant, Officers of the Insurance Company and the learned counsel for the respondents nos.1 to 5 are present.
It is agreed by the parties, the awarded amount of Rs.14,49,865/-(rupees fourteen lakhs forty nine thousand eight hundred sixty five) is modified and reduced to a consolidated amount of Rs.11,40,000/-

It appears that the appellant-Insurance Company has already deposited Rs.14,49,865/- (rupees fourteen lakhs forty nine thousand eight hundred sixty five) before the learned Commissioner for Employees Compensation -cum- Joint Labour Commissioner, Cuttack. The learned Commissioner is directed to release the consolidated amount of Rs.11,40,000/- (rupees eleven lakhs forty thousand) along with accrued interest thereon to the claimants and balance amount along with accrued interest thereon be refunded to the appellant-Insurance Company.
As the settlement is arrived at before the Lok Adalat, no court fee shall be levied from the claimants.
The FAO is accordingly disposed of.
