This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to extend all service benefits to the petitioner as against the post of Junior Stenographer atleast from the date of his juniors have been joined with effect from 01.05.1997 and further seeks direction to give all other service benefits prior to 04.10.2007 for the purpose of increment, inter se seniority and pension.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the case of the petitioner has already been recommended by opposite party no.2-A.I.G. of Police (Personnel), Orissa, Cuttack to the opposite party no.1Principal Secretary to Govt. of Orissa, Home Department vide Annexure-4 dated 04.09.2010 and, therefore, direction may be given to take a decision on the same within a stipulated time,

to which learned State Counsel has raised no objection. 4.

As agreed by learned counsel for the parties, this Court disposes of the writ petition directing opposite party no.1 to take a decision on the recommendation made by the opposite party no.2 under Annexure-4 dated 04.09.2010, and pass appropriate in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
