1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.

2. Heard Mr. L.K. Mohanty, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. M.K. Balabantaray, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Opp. Parties.

3. This writ petition has been filed challenging the order of termination passed under Annexure-3 and consequential order of rejection rejecting the prayer of the Petitioner to reinstate him in his service passed under Annexure-7.

4. Mr. Mohanty, learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner was so terminated because of his involvement in a Vigilance Proceeding and that too without issuing any show-cause. It is also submitted that in the meantime the Petitioner after his acquittal in the Vigilance Proceeding has been reinstated/appointed afresh in his service.

5. In view of such development which was taken place during the pendency of the writ petition, the prayer as made in the present writ

// 2 // petition has become infructuous. However, Petitioner is at liberty to file appropriate application, if any cause of action still subsists.
