Heard Mr. B.M. Sarangi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.
D.K.
Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel.

According to Mr. Sarangi, the petitioner is aggrieved by the non-registration of his complaints dated 09.10.2022 under Annexure-1 as F.I.R. by the I.I.C., Badachana Police Station (Opposite Party No.3) though the same reveals commission of cognizable offences. When nothing was done he sent a copy of the same to the said Opposite Party through Speed Post on 09.10.2022. But all to no avail. During course of hearing, he submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to file a grievance petition before the Superintendent of Police, Jajpur (Opposite Party No.2) and further prays that the said Opposite Party be directed to take a decision on such motion within a specific time period. 3.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to
the petitioner to approach the Superintendent of Police, Jajpur (Opposite Party No.2) by filing a grievance petition along with a certified copy of this order through Registered Post within a period of two weeks. In the event, such grievance petition is filed before the Opposite Party No.2, the said Opposite Party is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law keeping in the mind the decision of the Supreme Court in the case of Lalita Kumari v. Govt. of U.P. & Others reported in AIR 2014 SC 187 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such grievance petition and communicate the results of such exercise to the petitioner.

The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.
