This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction for early disposal of his representation dated 8th July, 2021 under Annexure-3, whereby he requested the Tahasildar, BhubaneswarOpposite Party No. 5 to fix the rent and accept the same in the interest of justice.

On perusal of the R.O.R. published in 1962 Settlement under Annexure-1, it appears that the same has been settled in favour of Bhima Charan Swain and others under 'Nijdakhal' status and no rent has been assessed as it was a rent free land. 4.

In course of hearing, Mr. Mishra, learned counsel for the Petitioner, therefore, prays that interest of justice will be best served, if the Petitioner moves the competent court of law in accordance with law for fixation of rent in respect of land in question.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn.

It is open to the Petitioner to move the competent court of law for fixation of rent in respect of land in question. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
