This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with G.R. Case No. 2032 of 2020 corresponding to Satyabadi P.S. Case No. 250 of 2020, pending on the file of the learned S.D.J.M., Puri for the alleged commission of offence under Sections376 (2) (b)/506 of the I.P.C. 3.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s. 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Addl. District & Sessions Judge, Puri by Order dtd. 12.11.2020 in B.A. No. 62/1130 of 2020, the present BLAPL has been filed. 4.

Heard Mr. S.N. Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Miss S. Mishra, learned counsel for the State.

Taking into account that the victim is an handicapped girl, this Court is not inclined to consider the petitioner's application for bail.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands rejected. The learned Court below in seision of the matter may expedite the trial. ( V.Narasingh ) Balaram Judge
