This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

This Contempt Petition is filed alleging violation of the Court's order dated 18.05.2022 passed in W.P.(C) No.12011 of 2022 and order dated 02.09.2022 passed in CONTC No.5384 of 2022 . 3.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging that the violation of this Court's order dated 18.05.2022 passed in W.P.(C) No.12011 of 2022 wherein direction was given to the authority to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment under the Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme under the OCS(RA) Rules, 1990 within a period of three months. However, the same has not been complied with by the authority concerned. 4.

On instruction received, learned counsel for the State submits that the application of the petitioner is being considered under

// 2 // OCS(Rehabilitation Assistance) Rule, 1990. However, the petitioner is not cooperating with the concerned authority for considering his application for rehabilitation appointment. It is further submitted by leaned counsel for the State that although the petitioner was intimated to come to the office, but he is not come forward for cooperating the authority.

Considering the aforesaid submissions made by the respective parties, this Court disposes of the contempt petition with a direction to the petitioner to approach before the authority within a period of one week from today and in the event the petitioner approached the authority within aforesaid time, it is further directed that the authority shall do well to consider the case of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the contempt petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
