This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioner in this writ petition seeks to assail the order dated 5th October, 2022 (Annexure-4), whereby rejecting his application for temporary permit in respect of the vehicle bearing Registration No. OD-04-N-9585, the same has been granted in favour of Opposite Party No.3, namely, Ansuman Chirnjibi, in respect of his vehicle bearing Registration No.OD-01-AQ-3527. 3.

Since the order rejecting an application for temporary permit is appealable under Section 89 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition. 4.

The Petitioner, if so advised, may work out his remedy in accordance with law. If such an appeal is filed within a period of two weeks hence, the same shall be considered within a period of eight weeks from the date of appearance of the parties giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned.
