1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.
2. Heard Ms. L. Sharma, learned counsel for the Petitioner.
3. The present writ Petition has been filed with a prayer to direct the Opp. Parties to correct the date of birth of the Petitioner.
4. It is submitted that the Petitioner entered into service on 17.09.1981 and retired as such on 30.06.2020.
5. Ms. Sharma, learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that though the actual date of birth of the Petitioner is 17.05.1957 and the said fact is reflected in various documents, but basing on the date of birth recorded in the service record as 05.06.1960, he was made to retire on 30.06.2020. Accordingly, she submitted that the prayer made in Annexure-1 be considered by the O.P. No. 7.
6. Since the question raised now is disputed in nature, this Court in exercise of its writ jurisdiction is not inclined to entertain the
// 2 // prayer. It is, however, Petitioner to approach the appropriate civil forum, if the Petitioner is so advised.
