This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in G.R. Case No.969 of 2022, pending in the file of learned S.D.J.M., Keonjhar, arising out of Keonjhar Town Case No. 194 of 2022, for alleged commission of offence under Sections 379 of IPC and is in custody since 27.08.2022.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Sessions Judge, Keonjhar by order dated 08.09.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account the nature of allegations and the punishment prescribed and keeping in view the period of custody,

this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter. 6.

Keeping in view the criminal proclivity of the petitioner as stated at the bar, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the I.O. once every week till submission of final form. First date and time of such appearance shall be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
