The Original Application No.2461(C) of 2018 was filed before the State Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC(OAC) No.2461 of 2018.

The petitioner has approached by way of Original Application converted to Writ Petition with grievance that the opposite parties did not consider his case for promotion to the rank of Havildar. The petitioner submitted that his case was ignored for promotion whereas a junior to him was considered for promotion vide order dated 28th July, 2018.

At the time of hearing today, Ms. B. K. Pattnaik, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner does not want to press the matter.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of as not pressed.
