Heard Mr. Kabi, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. Dhal, learned AGA.

At the outset, Mr. Kabi undertakes to serve an extra copy of the writ petition on learned counsel for the State in course of the day.

According to Mr. Kabi, though the Petitioner has applied for settlement of a piece of government land in his favour in Form-1 before Tahasildar, Dharmasala-Opposite Party No.3, which is enclosed to his representation dated 6th December, 2019 under Annexure-3 series, which is also addressed to the Tahasildar, Dharmasala, but till date no decision has been taken on such application. In such background, he prays that a direction may be issued to Tahasildar, Dharmasala to take a decision on such application within a specified time. 5.
Considering the submission made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs
// 2 // Opposite Party No.3-Tahasildar, Dharmasala to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner for settlement of the land in accordance with law, if not already disposed of, within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the Petitioner.

With the direction as aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of.
Issue urgent certified copy of the order on proper application.
