This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to opposite party to promote him to the rank of Senior Lecturer (GDDM) from the date of his batchmates and juniors have got promotion along with all consequential service and financial benefits within a stipulated time.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner states that highlighting the grievances, the petitioner has made representation to the opposite party vide Annexure-8 and the same may be directed to be disposed of within a stipulated time, to which learned State Counsel has raised no objection. 4.

As agreed to by learned counsel for the parties, however, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition stands disposed of directing the opposite party to consider the representation filed by the petitioner vide Annexure-8, and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
