This matter is taken up by virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No.2406 (C) of 2018 was filed before the Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC(OA) No.2406 of 2018. 3.

The Petitioner, while working as Odia Scholar in the Odishi Research Wing under the Director of Culture, Odisha got retired from Govt. service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31st March, 2014 came up before the Court with the grievance that though he completed 30 years of service, he was not given due grade pay under the Revised Assured Career Progression Scheme relatable to Odisha Revised Scale of Pay, Rules 2008. 4.

Mr. Pati, counsel for the Petitioner alleged that the claim of the Petitioner should have been considered taking into account the entry grade with effect from 22.02.1984. He submitted that to this fact, the Petitioner had submitted a representation dated 5th August,

// 2 // 2017 before the Commissioner-cum- Secretary to Govt. Department of Culture, Odisha with a prayer for allowing grade pay of Rs.6,600/- towards 3rd RACP.

Mr. L. Samantaray, Addl. Govt. Advocate submitted that the Petitioner may be directed to submit a fresh comprehensive representation along with already submitted representation so as to enable the authority concerned to consider the grievance of the Petitioner.

In view of the submission made by respective parties, Opposite Party No.1- Commissioner-cum- Secretary to Govt. Department of Culture, Odisha is directed to consider and dispose of the representations of the Petitioner within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. The Petitioner is at liberty to supply relevant materials before the authority concerned. After taking a decision within the period stipulated as above, copy of the order be communicated to the Petitioner.

The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction.
