Mr. Behera, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, prayer of his client is direction for payment of compensation of Rs.2,00,000/- under solatium fund towards hit and run motor accident cases, on setting aside impugned order dated 30th September, 2022 rejecting the claim. He submits, the claim was made on delay of 26 days. He relies on order dated 12th September, 2022, of this Bench made in W.P.(C) no.7154 of 2022 (Rasmita Pradhan and others vs. State of Odisha and others) to submit, the writ petition is covered thereby.

The writ petition is disposed of as covered by order dated 12th September, 2022 (supra). Impugned order dated 30th September, 2022 is set aside and quashed. Petitioner will approach opposite party no.4 with this order and the solatium fund application. Said opposite party is directed to consider and deal with the application and inform petitioner the result, within four weeks of approach.
