This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

According to learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which investigation is going on in connection with Cuttack Mahila P.S. Case No.50 dated 24.04.2022 registered for commission of offences under Sections 498-A/323/294/379/506/34, I.P.C. read with Section 4 of the D.P. Act. During course of argument, he submits that though highlighting all her grievances, the petitioner has filed grievance petition dated 26.09.2022 before the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cuttack (opposite party no.2) under Annexure-2, but till

// 2 // date no action has been taken on the same. In such background, he prays that necessary direction be given to opposite party no.2 to take a decision on the said grievance petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cuttack (opposite party no.2) to take a decision on the above noted grievance petition dated 26.09.2022 under Annexure-2 in accordance with law within a period of fifteen days from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order. 5.

The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy of this order on proper application.
