Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the State-Opp. Parties.

The Petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the following prayer:- "To issue direction to the State/O.P. No.5 i.e. Collector, Keonjhar for grant of 3rd MACP financial upgradation on completion of 30 years of service in the post of VLW (PEO) w.e.f. 13.3.2016 and fixation of pay of the petitioner in Level-8, Cell-24 at Rs.57,500/- in the pay matrix of ORSP Rules, 2017 as has been made by the Collector Sundergarh under Annexure-6 and BDO, Saintala under Annexure-7 and revise the wrong pay fixation order under Annexure-8 with payment of all consequential financial benefits to the petitioner on that count.

And pass any other order/orders as deemed fit and proper in the ends of justice, equity and good conscience."

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has already ventilated his grievance by filing a representation before the Opposite Party No.5 on 23.9.2022 under Annexure-9 to the writ petition, but till date nothing has been done on the same. In such background, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays that a direction be issued to the Opposite Party No.5 to take a decision on the above noted representation of the Petitioner within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Opposite Party No.5 to take a decision on the representation of the Petitioner under Annexure-9 to the writ petition taking into account Annexures-6 and 7 to the writ petition within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the Petitioner. 6.
