The Original Application No.2390 (C) of 2018 was filed before the Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC(OA) No.2390 of 2018. 3.

The Petitioner working as Senior Class-I Medical Officer at District Headquarter Hospital, Balangir as ENT Specialist, challenged the merger of four numbers of consultant ENT post with consultant (O&G) by the State Govt. vide notice bearing No. 19535/HFW-MSII-AESTT-0034-2017 dated 26th July, 2018. The Odisha Administrative Tribunal issued notice on admission vide dated 29th November, 2018.

At the time of hearing, Mr. Gautam Pattnaik, Advocate on behalf of Mr. K.A. Guru, counsel for the Petitioner submits that the matter has become infructuous.
