Heard Mr.

R.K.Bisoi, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Y.S.P. Babu, learned Addl. Government Advocate for the State-Opposite Parties.

The Petitioner is aggrieved by the denial of promotion to the rank of OAS Group-A(JB) in level-12 vide notification dated 31.03.2018 under Annexure-8.

It is submitted that the juniors to the Petitioner were given such promotion without considering the genuine claim of the Petitioner.

This Court after going through the materials available on record finds that prior to approaching this Court the Petitioner has not ventilated his grievance before the concerned authority.

In that view of the matter, this Court while disposing the Writ Petition permits the Petitioner to make appropriate application before Opposite Party No.1 ventilating his grievance as made in the writ petition. It is observed that if any such application is moved within a period of two weeks from today, Opposite Party No.1 shall take a lawful decision on the same within a further period of two months. The order so passed be communicated to the Petitioner within that time.

With the above observations/directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
