2. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:

"The Hon'ble Tribunal may be pleased to declare that the applicant is entitled to get Grade Pay o fRs.6,600/- on 3rd financial upgradation under RACP Scheme and accordingly applicant's pay be fixed with Grade Pay of Rs.6,600/- instead of Rs.5,400/- on 3rd financial upgradation by quashing the order at Annexure-6 and the Hon'ble Tribunal be further pleased to pass appropriate order directing the respondents to pay the consequential differential arrear salary and to extend the revised pensionary benefits with arrears as accrued in favour of applicant within a time bound period."

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation at Annexure-7 to the Writ Petition, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
