2. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:
"necessary direction be issued to the respondents for counting of past service i.e. from 31.10.1992 to 21.10.1999 towards qualifying service.
The applicant further prays that the Respondent No.5 be directed for continuance of previous GPF Account of the applicant as has been allotted in his favour during the previous service period.
Respondent NO.4 be directed to drawn and disburse the salary of the applicant in his favour for the month of July 1995 & 1.5.1999 to 21.10.1999 as well as differential salary from 1.1.1996 to 21.10.1999 under ORSP Rules, 1998 within a stipulated time.

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation at Annexure-20 to the Writ Petition, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a
// 2 // specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
