Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

Having regard to the severity of the allegations and the materials on record to prima facie support the same, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore, dismissed.

However, it shall be open to the petitioner to renew his prayer after examination of some material witnesses including the victim in the case.
