This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No.2002 of 2018 (C) was filed before the Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OAC) No.2002 of 2018.

The petitioners, practicing advocates, offered their candidature to the post of Public Prosecutor, in response to Advertisement No.5 of 2016-17 dated 04.10.2016 published by Opposite Party No.2- Odisha Public Service Commission. The main contention of the petitioners was that inadequate time was specified and the petitioners sought for deferment of schedule date of public prosecutor examination of 2016-17. 4.

Vide order dated 26.07.2018, the learned Odisha Administrative Tribunal while issuing notice rejected the prayer for interim relief.

At the time of hearing, Mr. Rayguru, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that by efflux of time, the writ petition has been rendered as infructuous.

In view of the above, the Writ Petition stands disposed as infructuous.
