S.B.Jena, learned counsel for the Petitioners and Mr.N.N.Satapathy, learned Standing Counsel for the State-Opposite Parties.

The present Writ Petition has been filed by the Petitioners with the following prayer:- " Under these circumstances, it is humbly prayed therefore that the Hon'ble Tribunal may graciously be pleased to quash the advertisement issued by the Respondent No.5 under Annexure-3-Series, so far as Nabarangpur district is concerned;

And further be pleased to direct the Respondent No.2 and 3 to consider the case of the applicants for promotion to the post of Supervisor;

And further be pleased to direct the respondents to give all consequential service benefits to the applicants Or pass such other order(s) direction(s) as this Hon'ble Tribunal may think fit and proper.

// 2 // And allow this Original Application with cost". 4.

Learned counsel for the Petitioners submitted that even though the Petitioners were eligible for their promotion to the post of Anganwadi Supervisors, when were not given such promotion, the present Writ Petition was filed. 5.

Learned counsel for the Petitioners further submitted that during pendency of the matter vide office order dated 26.04.2018, some of the petitioners have been given promotion whereas the claim of other petitioners are yet to be considered by the Opposite Party No.2.

In that view of the matter, this Court while disposing the Writ Petition directs the Opposite Party No.2 to take a lawful decision on the claim of the Petitioners and pass appropriate order on the same, taking into account the benefit extended in favour of similarly situated employee vide order dated 26.04.2018. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order.
