This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) The Respondents be directed to consider the case of the applicant and hold him eligible to get the scale of pay of surveyor in parity with other departments of the Government and accordingly allow him the scale of pay at Rs.370-550/- w.e.f. the date he was appointed as Surveyor and accordingly the deferential arrear dues be paid forthwith".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 15.10.2014 under Annexure-10 to the Writ Petition before the opposite party No.2 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to

// 2 // opposite party no.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
