The matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard Ms. B. Mishra, learned counsel for the Appellant and Mr. K.K. Das, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.

Ms. Mishra submits that the Appellant has undergone surgery of tumor in his food pipe and though he has been discharged now from the hospital, but he is under continuous supervision and checkup. As such, it is prayed for extension of the interim bail for a further period of two months.

Upon hearing both parties and considering the submissions, the period of interim bail is extended till 20th July, 2023. 5.

It is made clear that the Appellant shall surrender himself on or before 20th July, 2023, failing which learned court below shall take all appropriate steps including issuance of NBW of Arrest to apprehend the Appellant.

The I.A. is disposed of.
