This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner.

The present writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner seeking a direction to the Opposite Party No.1-the Controller of Examination, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar to issue migration certificate to him with further direction to the Opposite Party No.2 to take necessary follow up action for issuance of a valid registration number by settling the matter with the University and further to direct Opposite Parties No.1 to issue migration certificate within a stipulated period of time.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that he has applied to the University in a form issued by the University which is annexed to the writ petition as Annexure-7 dated 19.9.2022 along with the requisite fees. However, it is submitted that the same is pending before the Opposite Party No.1-Utkal University, who is

// 2 // competent authority to issue the certificate. 5.

Considering the limited nature of grievance of the Petitioner, this Court disposes of the writ petition at the stage of admission by directing the Opposite Party No.1-the Controller of Examination, Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar to do the needful and take up the follow up action pursuant the application of the Petitioner under Annexure-7 to the writ petition and make every endeavour to supply the migration certificate of the Petitioner within a four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
