This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 06.10.2021 in connection with Balliguda Excise P.R. No. 47 of 2021-22 corresponding to 2(a)CC No. 14 of 2021 of the Court of learned Special Judge-cum- ADJ, Balliguda for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, 1985.

The allegation against the present petitioner is that he was apprehended while transporting ganja weighing 12 Kgs on his motorcycle.

Considering the submissions made and the materials on record, the period of detention already undergone and the fact that the seized contraband is less then commercial quantity, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be

released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the trial Court on each date of posting of the case without fail. 6.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
