This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement. 2.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

According to learned counsel for the petitioner, the grievance of the petitioner in this case is that the petitioner has filed a complaint on 12.10.2022 under Annexure-1 before the I.I.C., Badambadi Police Station (opposite party no.3) for registration. Though the complaint reveals commission of cognizable offences, however, F.I.R. has not been registered. In such background, he prays that necessary direction be given to the said opposite party to take a decision on the above noted complaint within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without
// 2 // expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the I.I.C. Badambadi Police Station to take a decision on the complaint under Annexure-1 in accordance with law, keeping in the mind the decision of the Supreme Court in the case of Lalita Kumari v. Govt. of U.P. & Others reported in AIR 2014 SC 187 within a period of four weeks from the date of production of copy of this order, if in the meantime, the same have not been already disposed of. The petitioner be communicated with the result thereof. 5.
The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.
