Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

It is submitted by the learned counsel that the petitioner needs surgical intervention in respect of the knee injury, which has been referred to higher center for operating management.

Taking into account the submission made and the materials on record, this Court directs the concerned jail authorities to evaluate the present condition of the petitioner and take all possible steps necessary to ensure that treatment is

medically advised provided to him including surgery, since he is in custody.

Accordingly, the I.A. stands disposed of.
