This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing mode. Order No.

This writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner praying for a direction to the Opposite Parties to fix the pension of the Petitioner by taking Rs.43,000/- as the minimum pay in the pay band and accordingly released the arrear pensionary dues of the Petitioner w.e.f. the year 2006 along with appropriate interest from the due date of his entitlement, as has been extended in favour of the similar employees under Annexure-5 within a stipulated time. 3.

Considering the submission made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the Petitioner to file a fresh representation before the Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department, Bhubaneswar, Opposite Party No.1 within a period of eight weeks from today along with copy of the judgment relied on by the Petitioner in W.P.(C) No.8667 of 2014 and 26212 of

// 2 // 2014, disposed of on 25.03.2021. In such event, Opposite Party No.1 shall look into the same and take a decision on the same in the light of the judgment in the case referred to hereinabove within a period of two months thereafter. Decision so taken on the fresh representation of the Petitioner shall be communicated to the Petitioner within two weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
