1. 1. This matter is taken up by hybrid mode.

2. The Original Application having been transferred from the learned Orissa Administrative Tribunal, Bhubaneswar upon its abolition, has been registered before this Court as a writ petition on 20.8.2021.

3. On perusal of the available order sheets of the learned Tribunal it is indicated that notices were issued by the learned Tribunal on 5.2.2015 and the matter was never taken/pursued after 26.3.2015.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the O.A. was filed challenging the continuation of a Departmental Proceeding initiated in the year 2015 after the petitioner had retired from Govt. service w.e.f. 31.5.2014 as Deputy Superintendent of Police that resulted in depriving the petitioner of the pensionary benefits like pension etc.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner on instruction submits that during the pendency of the O.A./writ petition, the proceeding has been finalized and, therefore, nothing survives in the present writ petition.

6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of as not pressed granting liberty to the petitioner to file petition for any other cause of action.
