1. In this writ petition, the Petitioner has challenged the illegal action of the Educational Authorities denying T.G. Scale to the Petitioner w.e.f. 12.8.1976 till 22.6.1987 (whereafter T.G. Scale was allowed to him) and other consequential benefits including arrear payment and seniority.

2. At the time of hearing, since none appeared for the Petitioner when the matter is called, it is construed that by efflux of time, the matter has been rendered infructuous and the Petitioner is not interested to pursue the matter any further.
