The Original Application No.1466 of 2015 was filed before the Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Bhubaneswar Bench, Bhubaneswar. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OA) No.1466 of 2015. 3.

The Petitioner in this writ petition has challenged the legality and propriety of Clause-2 of the Government Resolution of Government of Odisha in School & Mass Education Department dated 27.10.2014 fixing the upper age limit for engagement of contractual teacher.

At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioner filed a memo in Court today seeking permission to withdraw the writ petition as no cause of action survives. The memo be kept on record.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of as withdrawn.
