Opposite Parties Mr. Nilambar Jena, Standing Counsel for the School & Mass Education
CORAM:
JUSTICE M.S. RAMAN Order No.
ORDER
21.06.2022 01.
1.
This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.
The Original Application No.1475 of 2015 was filed before the State Administrative Tribunal, Bhubaneswar. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OA) No.1475 of 2015.
3.
None appears for the Petitioner at the time of call. 4.
The Petitioner has claimed to have made on-line application for her selection to the post of Contract Teacher in the year 2014-15 under SEBC category with her 1st choice district as Khurda and she was selected. Though she had opted for Keonjhar district under un-reserved category as 5th choice, she was placed in that district without considering her preference district as 1st choice, i.e. Khurda. It is alleged that even though she secured more marks than those SEBC selected candidates in the selection process, who are placed in the district of Khurda, she has been discriminated.
5.
Mr. Nilambar Jena, learned Standing Counsel for the School & Mass Education submitted that by efflux of time, the matter has been rendered infrucutuous as it relates for selection in the year 2014-15.
// 2 // 6.
In view of such submission, this writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
